Almost everything about your account lives in Edit profile, in the menu.
How do I edit my profile?
Go to Edit profile, in the menu: avatar, bio (up to 300 characters), nationality, username, password and social links. Your username shows on all your posts and on your profile.
I forgot my password. What now?
In the sign-in window, tap Forgot password? and enter your email: if an account exists for it, a reset link arrives. A password needs at least 6 characters.
If you signed up with Google, choose Continue with Google instead. To change the email of your account, write to support@ratemyfeet.io.
How do I change the language?
RateMyFeet speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian. On a computer, switch from the More menu (⋯) at the top or from your profile menu; on a phone, from the main menu.
How do I stop your emails?
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom: one click stops all of our news, digests and reminders, message reminders included.
Emails about something you are in the middle of, like a Pro request or a subscription step, keep coming, because you need them to finish it.
Can I hide my profile for a while?
Yes: Edit profile, Advanced settings, then Hide my profile. Your profile leaves the feed, the search and the ranking, and anyone who opens it lands on the home page. Nothing is deleted, and our news emails stop.
If you sell from a backroom, your subscribers keep the month they paid for, renewals stop, and they are told by email. Come back with Reactivate whenever you like.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Edit profile, Advanced settings, then Delete my account. It is permanent: your profile, posts, votes and statistics go, and your personal data is erased within 30 days.
Two things can hold it back: a creator cannot delete while a subscriber is inside a month he paid for, and nobody can delete while a declared payment waits for a decision. The files of deleted stories are kept 30 days, in case they need inspecting.
