Follow and get closer

Updated October 26, 2026

Behind every picture there is a creator you can follow for free. And if one really gets to you, her backroom is right there.

What does following a creator do?

Following keeps a creator within reach: she shows up under the Following tab of your Activity page, so you find her again without searching.

She sees one more follower in her Insights. Following is free, and you can stop at any time from her profile.

Where do I see what happens around me?

Your Activity page, in the menu, gathers who followed you, who voted for your posts and who visited your profile, plus the creators you follow.

On a computer, the bell at the top shows the last 30 days at a glance. On a phone, a dot on the menu and a counter next to Activity tell you something is new.

What is a backroom?

A backroom is the private side of a creator's profile, 18+, for her subscribers only. Inside: what she keeps from the public feed, her stories, her pinned pieces, and a wall where subscribers write to her and she answers.

Only creators who hold the Pro status can open one. Each sets her own price for a month of access.

How do I know if a creator has a backroom?

When her backroom is open, her profile shows the way in. Tap it to see her cover: her promise in one sentence, her moods and her price for a month.

The cover is public and safe for work. What she keeps for subscribers stays inside.

Who gets in?

She chooses who comes in: you send a request, and she accepts or declines it within 7 days. If she does not answer in time, the request lapses and you are told.

A decline comes without a reason, and you can ask again after 30 days. Subscribing and paying walks through the request and the payment.

What is inside a backroom?

A backroom holds her pieces, her stories and her wall. Stories last 24 hours, and she can keep up to 10 live at once.

On the wall, subscribers leave comments of up to 300 characters, with one level of replies, and hearts on the pieces and comments they like. She can pin up to three pieces and remove any comment.

Will other subscribers see who I am?

No: on her wall, other subscribers see you as Subscriber plus a short code, a different one in each backroom. Only she sees your username.

Your hearts are counted, never named. When she checks a story, she sees how many people saw it, not who.

Can I message a creator instead?

Yes, private messages are open to everyone with an account, subscriber or not. Messages explains how a conversation starts.
