Get paid before you deliver

Use a payment service you already know and trust. Then wait until the money is actually in your account, not promised and not shown in a screenshot. Only then send anything.

Be wary of anything a stranger can claw back after you deliver, and of anything unusual: gift cards, an app you have never heard of, a payment "on its way". A real fan is fine with a normal payment.

Learn the classic scams
